I went for a grueling job assessment yesterday and I managed to get myself through that. I am so stoked! I don't have to return to my home country (Zimbabwe) and live under the tyrannical rule there. I just hope I do well and manage to impress these guys through the probationary period. I truly hope I am on par and can do a good job. I finally feel like I am making progress in my career. I have a good job and it is focusing on Flash. I will also learn some PHP and other server side languages. What can I say - I am sooooo stoked!!!!

Today I have loaded my first draft in what I know is going to be a massively long process in recreating my new website. http://www.richardhorn.co.za. It has been hugely entertaining thus far and I am sure I am going to receive lots of joy from keeping it updated. Finally I feel I have created something I can be proud of. I still have so many ideas I need to execute but time does not seem to be my friend of late. I will however endeavor to pull out every trick I know to make this my best work yet.

I now know how Pooh Bear must have felt rummaging and searching for those illusive pots of gold. I am in Cape Town and well lets just say that creative thinking is definitely called for... ...I came form a place where I was really well known to being completely unknown and let just say it is difficult joining the bottom of the pile again. I really think Dev Art it such a great resource available to all of us. Please use it wisely. We are an art community here to help each other. Leave the rude marks at the .com.
